About Our Bees
Carnica German Queen Bee
Our bee is called the Carnica German Queen Bee (this is not the Carniolian bee). These bees are a unique breed that are well acclimated for the Pacific Northwest Climate, and these wonderful pollinators are not aggressive. They have a very hard work ethic, and have proven to be great at pollinating and bringing in delicious honey. Carnica bee has a slightly longer proboscis than most other breeds, which allows it to better penetrate the blooms during pollination. We prefer working with this breed over other popular breeds, and so do our customers that come back year after year. We have all come to love this breed for their particular qualities.
